Do's and Don'ts of Binding Potion-Globe Mix

Can I use heat to speed up the drying process?: No! Do not add any additional heat once you apply this product. Being a water-based product, heat will cause a reaction and impact the overall appearance and functionality of Binding Potion.

Can I apply glitter with the Globe Mix?: Absolutely! That's the most ideal item to use with it. As you see in our listing photos, all photos have glitter stuck perfectly in place after using the globe mix.

Will Globe Mix dry clear?: Yes! It will go on semi-cloudy but it will dry clear.

Is Binding Potion an epoxy-alternative?: No! Binding Potion-Globe Mix can not be used in place of an epoxy coating or an epoxy-alternative coating. This product is made to be used inside the walls of a snow globe, an ornament, anything like that.

Will I need more than one coat to seal my glitter?: You shouldn't! One thin coat and making sure everything is coated should be enough to get that glitter to stick! You'll want to put enough in your project, swirl it around so the surface you're trying to add glitter to is coated, drain out any excess and then add glitter!

My glitter ran down inside my project and didn't stay, what happened?: You probably added too much so then it became runny instead of sticking in one spot. Make sure you add enough to do a thorough coat but not a runny coat and drain any excess if needed!
